Notes

I've been letting the works speak for themselves.  For "Trees and Wires" a question might come up.  Why two signatures, one backwards?

I show it in it's first form, pencil on vellum.  Vellum is a transluscent paper.  Using a light box and pen and ink I re-drew the pictue in pen and ink on the other side.

I show only those works I deem worthy.  Hundreds are good to fine in one way or another, but don't metrit showing.  Meanwhile, finding these old works leads me to others that are worth showing but need some minor restoration.  Glad to have a few more for "future" works on my work table.

There are stories behind many of my works.  For ex., my "Work Break".  When I took it off the wall to photograph I found my handwritten quote titled "Dagny's Still Life".  One wouldn't see this "Atlas Shrugged" source in the paintng, but there it is, as "Atlas" is the source of many of my works..  Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged" holds beautifully descriptive passages for portraits, still lifes, landscapes etc.  Others have their sorce in Rostand and Hugo and even O'Henry.  Of course my own interestes and imagination are behind most.
